We are a network of neighbors, volunteers and community partners contributing to vibrant livability in Southeast Roanoke.
I Heart SE started in 2018 with a group of neighbors seeking to spread a little positivity and has grown to be a vibrant and powerful force for good.
From these earliest days, we have sought community transformation by sparking joy and fostering inclusiveness. We continue this mission into the present as we build a strong community through love and connectedness.

Organize and promote volunteer opportunities in Southeast Roanoke
Community-building events and activities
Message kindness, inclusion and neighborhood pride
Neighborhood improvement and public art projects
Share community amenities and helpful information
Partner with a wide variety of Southeast organizations, businesses, city government, artists, civic and educational groups.
