Let’s celebrate SE ROA!

Join us for an Art Plawk & Social in celebration of a beautiful new mural and lots of exciting happenings in Southeast Roanoke!

On Tuesday, September 10, neighbors, community partners, and fans of SE are invited to participate in an art themed Plawk through Riverdale, followed by a Social and mural viewing on the patio at LAB Sports Performance.

Come explore the up and coming Riverdale Village development and get an up close look at a new paint and mosaic masterpiece created by artists Nicole Gray, Steven Paul, and Gretchen Coleman.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES

5:15-6:00 PM - Riverdale Plawk

We will meet some Riverdale tenants, hear about upcoming plans, see neat sites, and pick up any litter along the way!

6:15-7:15 PM: Social and Mural Celebration

Mingle with friends, meet the artists, and hear from community partners!

Chris’s Coffee & Custard will be open, so plan to treat yourself to something yummy!

The SE ROA mural project was funded through the City of Roanoke Percent for Art program by the Roanoke Arts Commission as part of the public-private Art in Place partnership. Supportive and engaged partners include LAB Sports Performance, Jonathan Murrill, and I Heart SE.
