Ferdinand Ave Street Mural Painting

Volunteers will help paint artistic designs, created by Roanoke artist Maggie Perrin-Key, on the street in areas designated by the city to reduce speeding, improve sidewalk and crossing visibility, and increase cyclist and pedestrian safety.

No painting experience is necessary and all painting supplies will be provided. There are also options to help sign in other volunteers and hand out painting supplies.

There are 2 shifts: 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. You can sign up for the morning, afternoon, or both shifts.

People of all ages are encouraged to participate. At least 50 people over the course of the day are needed for the project, so share this opportunity far and wide!
