There are currently two vacancies on the Roanoke Neighborhood Advocates (RNA) board. Only one of the seven current members lives in Southeast. Let your network know that another Southeast resident is encouraged to apply so that Southeast Roanoke’s interests are well represented on the board.

We want to bring I Heart SE volunteers, supporters, neighbors and community partners to the table in these important conversations guiding our future development. Your participation will fuel our momentum for continued action in Southeast Roanoke.

Presbyterian Community Center has year-round volunteer opportunities available in their food pantry Pathways after school program and special events.

Volunteers will help paint artistic designs on the street in areas designated by the city to reduce speeding, improve sidewalk and crossing visibility, and increase cyclist and pedestrian safety.

Join I Heart SE for our annual Southeast Trunk or Treat Party on Saturday, October 26, 5-7pm at Belmont Park baseball field parking lot at 923 Montrose Ave SE.

We are seeking SE neighbors and community partners (non-profits, city departments and local businesses)  to be trunk hosts. We’d love to have you join us for this event!
